Jason Franks is a commercially endorsed RYA / MCA Yachtmaster Ocean yacht skipper and RYA / MCA Yachtmaster Instructor with more than 30 years sailing experience and over 24,000 sea miles.
He learnt to sail and race dinghies growing up on the Thames Estuary and progressed to yacht cruising and racing on the East Coast and North Sea. He has widespread experience of sailing in the UK, especially on the South Coast of England and across channel. And also has experience on the West Coast of Scotland, Baltic, Mediterranean and Aegean Seas, and Transatlantic. And has recently completed an Arctic adventure to Iceland and Greenland
Jason is an accomplished yacht sailing instructor and regularly delivers the full range of RYA courses. He is also a proficient yacht racer and has raced in numerous regattas including Cowes weeks and offshore in the RORC series including the Fastnet Race. He has additionally delivered yachts in and around the UK and from abroad including Germany, France, Italy, Croatia and Greece.
